Here's a report that al Qaeda's top bad guy in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, has been captured. These early reports are usually wrong, so take with a grain of salt.

That said, if we did get him, lets hope he's on his way to Tel Aviv for a friendly chat...

The Mexican government has published a guide on how to break US laws. Perhaps the ACLU will consider a lawsuit forcing them to make the guide available in languages other than Spanish?
There is a great list here of the 40 most obnoxious quotes from 2004. One is especially poignant in light of the recent tsunami disaster in Asia:
